Here is what to do to remove Tearac (AKA - Nyxem, Blackmal, Black Worm, Grew, etc...) and protect your assets in the future:

Step 1.  Start with the FREE online virus scanner at Panda Antivirus (if you're infected go to step 2)

Step 2.  Follow these instructions to eradicate the worm.

Step 3.  If you are not protected, but luckily not infected, please protect your data. A security suite that provides antivirus protection, a firewall, and spyware protection is your best option.

Description:
It disables and ends certain antivirus programs. It also attempts to delete files belonging to several antivirus programs and P2P programs, among others. It spreads via email in a message with variable characteristics and across networks.
