Be prepared - backup your files regularly - Nyxem.E, KamaSutra, etc...

Regularly backing up important files on your PC is always necessary.  With the Nyxem (Kama Sutra, Blackmal, Grew, or whatever it is being called today...) virus getting ready to delete PDF, Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Access files, it becomes critical to take the time to make a backup of your files asap and turn this into a regular habit. Burn a cd for example.

To address what is so far the most expansive malware attack in 2006, speculation among security vendors and researchers has focused on the destructive nature of the worm. Unlike most viruses currently in the wild, the Kama Sutra code is not intended to reap the code writer a windfall of ill-gotten gains.

Yahoo! phishing warning - 01/25/06

Upon clicking on the website, users are forwarded to a fraudulent website, which is hosted in the United States and was up at the time of this alert. It requests their Yahoo! Photos username and password. Once users have entered their username and password, they receive an error message that their email account was incorrect, at which time the account information is forwarded to a third party and the end-users' account information could then be compromised.
