Google Safe Browsing extension for Firefox Google has added an extension to the Firefox Browser that alerts you if a web page that you visit appears to be asking for personal or financial information under false pretences. This type of attack, known as phishing or spoofing, is becoming more sophisticated, widespread and dangerous. To thwart this type of attack, install Firefox, then go to the link below for Google Safe Browsing and install the Google-Safebrowsing.xpi extension.
